Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Optical Lab Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong laboratory skills, a solid understanding of ophthalmology, and experience in optical procedures. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-quality eyewear production while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Fabricate and assemble ophthalmic lenses using various laboratory techniques, including CNC lathes, ensuring precision and accuracy. Perform optical measurements and inspections to verify lens specifications and quality standards. Follow detailed laboratory procedures for lens edging, mounting, and coating to produce custom eyewear. Conduct quality assurance checks throughout the fabrication process to ensure optimal product performance. Qualifications Proven experience working within optical laboratory environment with familiarity in laboratory procedures and techniques. Experience operating CNC lathes or similar precision machinery used in lens fabrication. Ability to interpret technical drawings and optical prescriptions accurately. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to quality assurance practices. Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
