Eye Care Technician Big Country Eye Center Abilene, TX Job Details Full-time $13 - $15 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance 401(k) Qualifications Customer service Client inquiry handling In-person customer service Individual consumer customer service Patient interaction Full Job Description We are a busy ophthalmology practice seeking an energetic, patient friendly ophthalmic technician to assist our doctors in providing quality care to our patients. Experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Benefits available including health insurance, 401K, paid vacation and holidays. Hours are 7:50 - 5:00 Monday thru Thursday and 7:50 - 12:00 on Friday.
Responsibilities:
Promptly and efficiently assisting the doctors in patient care and minor in office procedures, performing technical workups including refractions and special testing, efficiently and accurately interviewing patients and documenting patient history, and communicating with patients on follow up care, procedures and changes in medications. Position requires good customer service skills, willingness to learn and adapt to change, and dependable. Salary will depend on experience.
