Job Description

Real People Making a Real Difference Berkeley Eye Center's Atascocita location is currently seeking an experienced ophthalmic/optometric assistant. Ideal Candidates will have 3+ years of optometry or ophthalmology experience involving back-office vision care exams and Electronic Medical Records. The Atascocita location is open Monday through Saturday with later office hours on Thursday evenings (6 p.m.).
Preferred experience:
General vision care knowledge Proficient with utilizing an auto-refractor /auto-lensometer Able to accurately check vision Proficient with checking pupils, eye muscles and visual confrontation Proficient with using EMR's and can pick up quickly with new software Able to handle high patient volumes Additional factors Willing to work one late night per week (6 PM) and one Sat. per month Bilingual a major plus.
