Here we have many Spanish only speaking patients. In this role you will be assigned to these patients, so we require strong English and Spanish speaking skills . Basic mathematics skills are mandatory. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel valued and cared . This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in optometric care, computer skills, and patient care within a fast-paced, supportive setting. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with intake procedures to ensure smooth clinic flow Prepare patients for exams by performing preliminary tests including visual acuity assessments, intraocular pressure, and retinal imaging. Manage electronic medical records , ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations Support front desk duties including scheduling appointments, handling medical billing and coding, and managing patient charts Provide retail sales support by explaining spectacle lens options, frames, and contact lenses Help the team members to deliver seamless patient care from check-in through checkout Experience Prior experience in optometry clinics is highly preferred Background in retail sales or customer service which enhances patient interaction skills Experience with medical billing, coding, and insurance processes is advantageous Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication to patient care makes a real difference!
