Optometric Assistant/Technician for a Modern Eye Care Practice in West El Paso! Are you upbeat, great with people, and excited to be part of something new? Eyes of Cimarron —a cutting-edge optometry office opening soon on the west side of El Paso, TX—is looking for a friendly, flexible, and reliable Optometric Assistant/Technician to join our team! We're a modern, family-focused practice that offers advanced eye care treatments, myopia control, and full-scope eye exams in a warm, welcoming environment. As a new practice, this is a special opportunity to grow with us —and be part of a team where you'll be respected, appreciated, and heard .

What You'll Do:

Greet and check in patients with a big smile Answer phones and assist with scheduling Help patients feel comfortable and cared for Support the doctor with clinical and clerical tasks, including preliminary testing Assist patients in choosing and selling the perfect frames Comfortably discuss pricing and payment options with patients Help out with social media and marketing (if that's your thing!) Be flexible and ready to jump in wherever you're needed

What We're Looking For:

Friendly, outgoing personality Strong communication and phone skills Detail-oriented and organized Willing to learn and take on new challenges Comfortable working with kids and families Confident discussing product costs and helping patients make informed choices Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus Basic computer skills (email, scheduling software, etc.) Flexible schedule and team-player mindset
