Job Description
Growing Optometry office in need of a full-time Office Assistant to help with our growth. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality to help deliver the level of customer service our clients have come to expect. Candidates should have good computer skills, the ability to be a great teammate, multitasking skills and a friendly face. Job duties will include but are not limited to the following: Perform preliminary testing and exam preparation for patients. These duties will require knowledge and use of all office testing equipment as well as a working knowledge of the office practice management software program. Assist with tasks in optical lab including the processing of frames, lenses and contact lenses Assist with front desk/receptionist duties including telephone support, scheduling appointments, and insurance verification for patients. Assist patients with the pick-up, dispensing and fitting of glasses and/or contact lenses. Assist patients with frame and lens selection including pricing and selling glasses. Duties also include any other office support duties that may arise.
