Job Description
Join Elevated Eye Care as an Optometric Assistant! We are looking for someone who is outgoing, hard-working, and has excellent customer service skills. Our ideal candidate has great time management skills and exhibits a friendly personality that represents the small town feel of New Braunfels. This position is part-time with the opportunity to grow into full-time in the future. Elevated Eye Care is a cold start private optometry office, and we would love for our employees to grow with us.
- The current opening we have would start as an Optometric Assistant, but we would train you in optical as well!
Optometric Assistant:
- Overseeing patient communication, insurance verification
- Performing diagnostic testing and prepping patients to be seen by the doctor
- Processing and dispensing glasses and contact lens orders
- Frame styling patients and billing vision insurance
- Cross-training and participating in other office roles from time to time such as Vision Therapist
- Using electronic records to maintain detailed patient records Experience in the field of Optometry or Ophthalmology is preferred but not required.
Pay:
$14.00- $18.
