Job Description
Our busy comprehensive Ophthalmology practice has an opening for a full-time Technician. We offer an excellent salary and benefits package that includes PTO, medical insurance, 401K, and paid holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing patients for exams and gathering past medical history
- Assisting the physician in procedures
- Performing refractions and in-office testing (OCT, visual fields, IOL Master)
- Fitting and dispensing eyewear, including providing patient education on lens options and frame selection
- Assisting patients with adjustments and repairs
Qualifications:
- Must have computer knowledge and excellent communication skills
- A strong work ethic with a positive attitude towards patient care
- Ability to work well with others
- Ophthalmic experience preferred; however, we are willing to train highly motivated individuals eager to learn.
