PART TIME ~ Optometric Technician/Receptionist

Private sub-leased optometry office located inside the Norfolk naval base Navy Exchange seeking an experienced, friendly part-time Optometric Tech. The ideal candidate for our practice is: Professional A self-starter Willing to learn new skills Cheerful Attentive to detail Reliable A team player Preferred, but not required skills include: Knowledge of the eye and eye health Experience with various insurance and vision plans Duties will include: Assisting the doctor in providing medical eye care Obtaining medical histories from patients Administering diagnostic tests Measuring and recording vision Providing contact lens education and training Scheduling Appointments Verifying and billing insurances Contact lens sales Data and clerical entries into electronic medical software

Hours:

Tuesday-Friday 9am-6pm Saturday 9am-3pm
