Overview:
Flexi/PRN As an Ophthalmic Tech with Sentara, you will be responsible for the performance of procedures for the diagnostic and treatment of ophthalmic disease. With the Manager of the Eye Center for Sight, the Technician/Technologist will coordinate patient care to meet the expectations of the patients and staff. Along with the completion of technical procedures, the Technician/Technologist will manage clinics as assigned. Responsible for providing assistance to the Eye Center staff and Ophthalmology residents. Education Trade School Graduate
- Ophthalmic Technologist Certification/Licensure Basic Life Support (BLS)

- American Heart Association (AHA) RQI Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT)

- IJCAHPO (International Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology) Experience 1 year of ophthalmic experience required.
