Job Description

Our technicians extend the optometrist's capabilities by assuming routine and technical aspects of vision care services, as well as help build patient confidence while working directly with our doctors. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Patient work-up, testing, and ocular/medical history Visual Acuity Ocular Pressure Optos, Retinal Imaging and OCT, Visual Fields Scribe Chair-side assistance to optometrist Coordinate/schedule with referring physicians Contact Lens Procedures, including training, ordering, and dispensing Assist in other departments as needed (answering phone, dispensing glasses, etc) Other Duties as Assigned Experience in optometry and Electronic Health Records is preferred. Adaptable to change and a willingness to learn and grow is required.
