Join Our Team of Exceptional Eye Care Professionals Ophthalmic Consultants of Vermont (OCV) is a highly respected private practice specializing in advanced eye surgery and comprehensive ophthalmic care. We are seeking a bright , motivated, and compassionate individual to join our clinical team as an Ophthalmic Medical Technician. In this essential role, you will work directly alongside our skilled surgeons and clinical staff to support patient care and ensure a seamless, high-quality experience for every individual we serve. Whether you're an experienced medical professional or looking to begin a career in healthcare, OCV offers hands-on, paid training and opportunities for career growth and certification. Key Responsibilities Perform patient work-ups, including history taking, vision testing, and diagnostic measurements Conduct Ophthalmic testing and assist with minor in-office procedures Document findings and serve a s medical scribe during patient encounters Triaging patient calls and manage prescription refill requests Maintain a compassionate and professional environment that reflects OCV's commitment to excellence in patient care
Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree in relevant field is preferred.
Experience:
One year of experience in a healthcare or medical field is preferred.
