The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess knowledge in ophthalmology and medical office procedures. Duties may include but not limited to:
  • Perform preliminary patient work-up, including documenting medical history and chief complaint
  • Conduct diagnostic tests such as visual acuity, photography, ocular scanning and tonometry
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Handle front desk duties including scheduling appointments
  • Assist with minor procedures
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients
Qualifications:
  • Experience in ophthalmology or optical field preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Certification as an Ophthalmic Technician is a plus This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare setting, providing valuable experience in ophthalmic care.
