Job Description

Entry level Optical Assistant Qualifications Team player Can work independently and part of a team Able to take initiative and multitask Positive approachable personality Eager to learn new skills Strong computer and communication abilities in person and on the phone Accept positive guidance and suggestions Reliable and must have transportation Job Description Greet and check patients in/out. Answer multiple phone lines. Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments. Verify patient insurance coverage. Collect co-pays and account balances. Perform visual testing and sterilize equipment. Educate patients of proper contact lens procedures. Help patients with lens and frame selection. Dispense glasses and perform frame adjustments as needed. Schedule is Tuesday through Friday 7am-5:30pm.
