Optical Fashions Eye Care Clinic is looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Optometric Doctor Assistant to join our growing team! As a locally owned private optometry practice, we are passionate about providing exceptional patient care from the moment our patients walk through our doors until they leave with confidence in their vision and eye health. We are looking for someone who shares that commitment and wants to become an important part of our team. What You'll Do As an Optometric Assistant, you'll work closely with our doctors to help create an outstanding patient experience by: Welcoming and preparing patients for their examinations Performing pre-testing and diagnostic screening Collecting medical and vision histories Reviewing patient charts for completeness and accuracy Assisting with contact lens training and education Cleaning and disinfecting exam rooms and equipment Documenting patient information accurately in our electronic records Assisting doctors throughout the patient visit as needed Supporting the clinical team with various administrative duties Helping maintain an organized, efficient, and patient-focused office We're Looking For Someone Who Is Friendly, compassionate, and professional Passionate about providing outstanding customer service Detail-oriented and highly organized An excellent communicator Comfortable using computers and learning new technology Able to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment A strong problem solver Dependable, punctual, and a team player Eager to learn and grow Previous healthcare or optometric experience is a plus, but not required. We are happy to train the right person with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Schedule & Location This is a part-time position working between our two clinic locations: 814 S. Main Street, Holmen, WI 2014 State Road 16, La Crosse, WI Reliable transportation is required, as travel between locations is part of the position.
