OPTICIAN ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Optician, you will work directly with patients on the selection and fit of frames, lenses, and contact lenses, based on their medical and lifestyle needs. Many of our customers rely on our knowledge to meet both design and functional needs. You will want to stay up-to-date on the latest lens technology, lens treatments, and frame fashions, while also understanding how the dynamics of frame, lens, and face shape work together for that perfectly curated fit.

As a candidate, we'll pay you to train at $16/ hour. After graduating from candidate to Junior Optician, your training will continue at $17+ / hour, with career and pay advancement opportunities. Responsibilities Assist customers in selecting eyewear and provide detailed product knowledge. Conduct vision tests and assess patients' optical needs. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Process sales transactions and manage inventory effectively. Qualifications Proven retail sales experience, preferably in optical settings Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology Experience with EMR systems and medical records management Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality Excellent communication and customer service skills
