Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses
  • Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes and facial features
  • Interpret prescriptions written by optometrists or ophthalmologists
  • Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance
  • Adjust and repair eyeglasses as needed
  • Maintain accurate and organized medical records
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in eyewear technology
  • Management of Optical division taking a lead role in sales, quality control, and leadership of optical staff.
Requirements:
  • Proficient in managing medical records and maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to the eye and vision
  • Excellent retail sales skills to effectively communicate with customers and provide exceptional service
  • Familiarity with retail math for pricing, discounts, and promotions
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy is protected
  • Sales experience to promote products and increase revenue
