Full Job Description Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses
  • Take accurate measurements of patients' eyes and facial features
  • Educate patients on proper eyewear care and maintenance
  • Adjust and repair eyewear as needed
  • Maintain inventory of eyeglass frames and contact lenses
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient records
Experience:
  • Proficiency in using optical systems and equipment
  • Knowledge of medical terminology related to optometry
  • Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
  • Understanding of anatomy and physiology of the eye
  • Familiarity with taking vital signs and using aseptic techniques
  • Ability to handle medical records and perform medical billing tasks
  • Experience in providing care for seniors is beneficial
  • Familiarity with Epic or other electronic medical record systems is a plus As an Optician, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve optimal vision by providing them with the appropriate eyewear.
Your expertise in optical systems, medical terminology, and patient care will contribute to the success of our practice.
