Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Optician to join our team. While a formal optician license is not required, prior experience working in an optometry or ophthalmology setting is mandatory. The ideal candidate is someone who thoroughly understands optical terminology, excels at patient style consultations, and brings a warm, professional energy to our clinic. Key Responsibilities Assist patients with frame selection, styling, and lens options based on their prescriptions. Take accurate optical measurements (PD, segment height) and adjust/repair eyewear. Process vision insurance claims (VSP, EyeMed, etc.) and explain benefits to patients. Order lenses and frames, verify incoming orders via lensometry, and manage inventory. Provide backup support for the front desk, including scheduling and patient check-in.
