The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in optical services, customer care, and front desk operations with the ability to communicate fluently in both Chinese and English. Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner.
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
• Verify vision insurance eligibility and explain benefits to patients.
• Assist patients in selecting eyeglass frames and lenses based on prescriptions and lifestyle needs.
• Measure pupillary distance (PD) and ensure accurate eyewear fitting and adjustments.
• Process eyewear orders and coordinate with optical laboratories.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic medical records (EMR).
• Collect payments, process insurance claims, and balance daily transactions.
• Assist with inventory management, stocking, and merchandising of frames and optical products.
• Ensure the reception and optical areas remain clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Collaborate with optometrists and team members to provide excellent patient care. Requirements
• Bilingual in Chinese (required)
• Previous experience as an optician (2-5 years) or ABO Certificate
• Strong knowledge of ophthalmic lenses, frame fitting, and adjustments Full Time Schedule
• Monday to Friday OR Tuesday to Saturday
• 8 hours per day Benefits
