We're looking for a friendly, detail-oriented optician or dispensing technician to join our team and help patients find the perfect fit — literally and figuratively — for their vision needs. What You'll Do Assist patients in selecting eyewear frames and lenses that fit their prescription, lifestyle, and budget Take accurate measurements for lens fitting (PD, segment height, etc.) Verify and dispense eyeglasses and contact lenses, ensuring proper fit and comfort Perform minor frame adjustments and repairs Explain lens options, coatings, and warranties clearly to patients Process insurance benefits and handle billing related to eyewear purchases Maintain accurate patient records and order tracking Provide friendly, professional customer service at the front desk and optical dispensary Collaborate with optometrists and staff to ensure smooth patient flow What We're Looking For Previous experience as an optician and or dispensing techchnician preferred (ABO certification a plus, but not required) Strong customer service and communication skills Comfortable with basic math and measurements Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment Familiarity with EHR/practice management software is a plus A positive, team-first attitude
