We value a welcoming atmosphere, teamwork, and building lasting relationships with our patients. We are seeking a FRIENDLY, POSITIVE, dedicated, and detail-oriented Optician/Receptionist to join our team. This role involves both front desk reception duties and optical/sales/dispensing. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a passion for helping others, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities with accuracy and professionalism. Duties Greet patients and visitors with a warm, professional matter Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, and respond to inquiries. Verify insurance benefits and process billing information (work with insurances as VSP, EyeMed, LaCare, HealthNet, Medicare) Maintain accurate patient records in our practice management system. Knowledge of Revolution EHR is a plus. Assist patients in selecting appropriate eyewear based on their prescription and lifestyle needs. Perform fittings and adjustments of eyeglasses to ensure proper alignment and comfort. Place and track optical orders Perform contact lens training as needed Perform basic pre-testing duties Support the optometrist and team with additional administrative or patient care tasks as needed. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Punctual and organized Friendly Requirements Previous 2+ minimum experience as an optician, optical assistant, or receptionist required.
