We are looking for someone with an out- going personality, great work ethic, positive attitude and excellent organizational skills. Being punctual and dependable is a must! Need to have excellent computer skills, ability to learn quickly and multitask effectively. Previous optical experience with a minimum of 1 year in the optical field is preferred, but not required. Previous retail experience is also an asset. We are willing to train the right candidate. High School graduate or equivalent. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Frame and lens selection Dispensing glasses Glasses adjustments, repairs and trouble shooting Checking in and analyzing glasses and contact lenses Greeting patients, answering phones and scheduling appointments Pre-testing patients for exam Getting insurance authorizations Billing insurance plans Filing and preparing patient charts Contact lens insertion and removal training Takes pride in store appearance, shows initiative to keep store clean, attractive & organized. Secures & protects company assets in your control. Possesses a "can do" spirit & strong drive for results; self-motivated with a desire for continual learning & improvement. Maintains proper dress code.
