Optician Turlock Family Vision - 3.3 Turlock, CA Job Details Full-time From $18 an hour 6 days ago Benefits Vision insurance Employee discount Qualifications Appeals Research ICD-10 Medical billing and coding communication with insurance companies Medical claims submission Insurance provider collaboration Full Job Description Verifies diagnosis, insurance and claim details prior to posting and submitting claims for payment Bill claims in vision websites daily Research, initiate follow up and resolve all unpaid or underpaid claims with appropriate insurance payor Submits reconsiderations, redeterminations and appeals when applicable Resubmits corrected claims to various optical and medical insurance companies electronically Reviews insurance payment for accuracy and compliance with contract discount Meet with Manager/Supervisor to discuss and resolve reimbursement and/or billing issues Other duties as assigned by management
