Optician Full-Time Tustin, CA $21-$26/hr

DOE ABOUT THE ROLE

We are a friendly, patient-focused optical practice in Tustin, CA looking for an enthusiastic Optician to join our team. If you love helping people see their best and thrive in a warm, welcoming environment, we'd love to meet you! This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly rate based on your experience.

SCHEDULE & HOURS

Our office is open Tuesday through Saturday. You must be available to work most Saturdays. Tuesday -

Friday:

Saturday:

8:00 AM - 1:00 PM

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that fit their needs, lifestyle, and budget Accurately interpret prescriptions and perform optical measurements (PD, seg heights, etc.) Dispense, adjust, and repair eyewear to ensure proper fit and comfort Provide exceptional, friendly customer service at every interaction Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and proper eyewear care Maintain a clean, organized dispensary and manage frame inventory Support the front office team and collaborate with the doctor as needed

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Minimum 1 year of experience as an optician or in an optical dispensary setting Warm, outgoing, and genuinely friendly personality — a great attitude is a must! Strong attention to detail and accuracy with optical measurements Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment Basic computer skills; experience with optical/EHR software is a plus ABO certification preferred, but not required for the right candidate Must be able to reliably commute to Tustin, CA

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Pay is dependent on experience and ranges from $21.00 - $26.00 per hour.
