Job Description
We are seeking an energetic, professional full time or part time Optician to join our amazing sales team! Here at Vista Eye Care we truly care about great vision through compassionate preventive eye care. We are a young, progressive, fast-paced private Optometry practice in Thornton. The Optical team thrive on delivering a high-level healthcare experience driven by patient satisfaction. We are looking for a long-term addition to join our team of dedicated professionals. In this office our team members are our most valued assets. Growth opportunities are available for the right person, as our practice continues to grow and develop. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Handling high end and multiple frame and lens styles
- Properly measuring for digital single vision, bifocals and progressives
- Knowledge of optical terminology and fashion trends in frames is a plus
- Communicate with patient's regarding their insurance benefits and pricing
- Adjusting and repairing eyewear
- Maintaining frame boards and cleanliness
- Assisting with patient's needs on the phone, as well as in person
- Troubleshoot patient complaints; adjust or repair spectacles as needed.
- Most importantly, providing patients with outstanding customer service!
