ELITE VISION
is seeking a motivated, outgoing, customer service oriented optician to join our team in a full-time position. We are an upscale eye care clinic providing comprehensive eye care and featuring an impressive optical with many designer brands. We have recently moved into our new office, built from the ground up, to be the premier choice for eye care in Colorado Springs. Our opticians have the opportunity to work with the most advanced spectacle lens technologies available including the latest digital freeform SVL and PAL designs. We have frequent education opportunities in our office to stay informed of the most recent advancements in technology to offer our patients premier products and the latest designer frames. We utilize electronic medical records and digital refraction systems in the exam rooms to ensure our patients have the best options available to optimize their vision. We are looking to add a team member that enjoys providing the highest level of customer service to our valued patients. We have a positive practice environment where our employees and patients are valued.Responsibilities of our opticians include:
- assisting patients with frame and lens selection
- educating patients about their insurance benefits and pricing of eyewear and contact lenses
- performing all measurements to fit glasses and order them from our labs
- dispensing eyewear and contact lenses to patients
- adjusting eyewear and performing minor repair of our patients' frames
- ordering spectacle and contact lenses
- edging and finishing SVL eyewear in our lab
- confirming the accuracy of eyewear received from the lab and contacting patients to inform them that their glasses are ready to be dispensed
- communicate with our labs to ensure that all patient orders are completed quickly to deliver to our patients and exceed their expectations
- providing info about contact lenses, patient rebates, insurance benefits, and pricing contact lenses to our patients
- working with our frame vendors to maintain and update our optical inventory
- working with our team to ensure that all patients are greeted upon their arrival and have an excellent experience at our office
- answering phone calls to assist our patients and schedule We work together as a team to provide the highest level of customer service to our valued patients.
