Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting patients in selecting and fitting eyewear, ensuring they receive the highest level of service and care. This role requires a strong understanding of optical products, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively in a retail environment. Responsibilities Greet and assist patients in selecting eyewear that meets their needs and preferences. Conduct measurements for eyeglasses, ensuring accurate fittings. Educate patients on proper eyewear care and maintenance. Process orders for eyewear, contact lenses, and manage inventory levels effectively. Collaborate with optometrists to ensure seamless patient care. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient information. Handle vision insurance claims accurately. Skills Proficiency in retail sales with a focus on customer satisfaction. Strong knowledge of optical products, including lenses, frames, and contact lenses. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations. Excellent communication skills to explain complex information clearly to patients. Attention to detail for accurate measurements and fittings.
