We need someone who takes ownership of their work, stays on top of orders, communicates well, and completes tasks without constant reminders. Responsibilities Assist patients with frame and lens selection. Take accurate optical measurements. Adjust, repair, fit, and dispense eyewear. Enter and submit eyewear orders. Process insurance and optical orders. Track outstanding orders and follow up as needed. Check incoming eyewear for accuracy and quality. Notify patients promptly when orders are ready. Maintain organized trays, orders, frames, and supplies. Handle remakes, repairs, and order issues. Keep optical work current and prevent backlogs. Communicate problems or delays promptly. Shared Office Responsibilities All team members are cross-trained and expected to: Answer incoming phone calls. Schedule and reschedule appointments. Assist walk-ins with scheduling. Obtain and enter insurance information. Verify insurance eligibility and benefits. Document messages accurately. Help provide front-office coverage when needed. Qualifications Previous optical experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of lenses, frames, measurements, adjustments, and dispensing. Vision insurance experience preferred. Strong computer and communication skills. Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented. Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Strong follow-through and sense of urgency. Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the optical department, notices what needs to be done, follows through, and works well as part of the entire practice team.

Pay:

$13.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week
