Job Description

```Duties```
  • Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses based on their prescription and personal preferences
  • Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes and facial features to ensure proper fit of eyewear
  • Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and treatments to meet their visual needs
  • Adjust and repair eyewear as needed to provide optimal comfort and functionality
  • Maintain inventory of eyeglass frames, contact lenses, and other optical products
  • Process orders for eyewear, including verifying insurance coverage and obtaining necessary authorizations
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction ```Requirements```
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as an optician or in a similar role preferred
  • Strong knowledge of optics, lens materials, and frame styles
  • Familiarity with vision insurance plans and billing procedures
  • Proficiency in using computer systems for order processing and record keeping
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately measure and fit eyewear
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
