Job Description
```Duties```
- Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses based on their prescription and personal preferences
- Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes and facial features to ensure proper fit of eyewear
- Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and treatments to meet their visual needs
- Adjust and repair eyewear as needed to provide optimal comfort and functionality
- Maintain inventory of eyeglass frames, contact lenses, and other optical products
- Process orders for eyewear, including verifying insurance coverage and obtaining necessary authorizations
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction ```Requirements```
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as an optician or in a similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of optics, lens materials, and frame styles
- Familiarity with vision insurance plans and billing procedures
- Proficiency in using computer systems for order processing and record keeping
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately measure and fit eyewear
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
