Position Summary St. Joe Vision is seeking a friendly, motivated, and detail-oriented Eyewear Specialist- Optician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, enjoys helping people look and see their best, and thrives in a positive, team-oriented environment. This role combines customer service, optical sales, frame styling, and technical optical duties to create an outstanding patient experience from start to finish. Responsibilities Greet and assist patients in a warm, professional manner Help patients select frames and lenses that fit their lifestyle, prescription, and budget Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and eyewear products Take accurate optical measurements including PDs and segment heights Adjust, repair, and dispense eyewear Verify insurance benefits and explain coverage to patients Process orders and coordinate with optical labs Maintain attractive frame displays and inventory organization Support front desk and scheduling needs as necessary Deliver exceptional patient service while representing the mission and values of St. Joe Vision Qualifications Previous optical experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate ABO certification is a plus Strong customer service and communication skills Retail sales experience preferred Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and team-first mentality Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Basic computer proficiency What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Paid time off Employee eyewear benefits Supportive and family-oriented work environment Opportunities for growth and continued education Monday-Friday schedule with work-life balance Why Join St. Joe Vision?
