Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Optician Technician, where your expertise will directly enhance patient care and optical services. In this vital role, you will assist in fitting and dispensing eyewear, managing patient records, and supporting ophthalmology professionals with precision and compassion. Your energy and attention to detail will help ensure every patient receives exceptional service in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Duties Prepare and adjust eyewear, including fitting frames and verifying prescriptions using optical experience and physiology knowledge Manage patient records accurately within Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems s Conduct laboratory work such as lens measurements, frame adjustments, and quality checks ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques Support retail sales by educating patients on eyewear options, lens features, and pricing while maintaining excellent customer service skills Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding medical records and sensitive patient information Schedule appointments Skills Experience with laboratory techniques related to optical devices and lens fabrication Knowledge of EMR systems for managing electronic health records efficiently Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in optical healthcare while delivering top-tier service. Pay:
