Job Summary:
Arsulowicz Eye Care, LLC is a private optometry practice that serves the eye care and optical needs of West Michigan for nearly 50 years. This position is responsible for developing a trusted patient relationship by presenting options for eyewear and eyecare products that enhance their visual needs and lifestyle.
Responsibilities:
Notate lensometry readings in patient chart Educate patients about frames, lens options and eyecare industry trends Order eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lens annual supply Alert patients when glasses/contact lens orders are ready for pick-up Adjust, repair and clean eyeglasses Troubleshoot patient visual concerns and glasses non-adaption Facilitate contact lens training classes and order/dispense contact lens trials Order ophthalmic supplies and organize optical lab Coordinate frame board merchandising with ophthalmic rep partners Oversee equipment maintenance Crosstrain to perform visual field and OCT testing, assist ophthalmic technician Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
Prior optician experience preferred, but willing to train Consistently deliver excellent patient care and develop rapport Works well in team environment Detail-oriented problem solving and conflict resolution High school diploma required; Associates degree preferred Proficiently navigate an Electronic Medical Records program with Windows based programs Punctuality and reliability Effective verbal and written communication
