What You'll Do as an Optician As an Optician at Riemer Eye Center, you will help patients throughout their eyewear journey by: Welcoming patients and creating a warm, personalized experience. Assisting patients in selecting eyewear that fits their lifestyle, vision needs, and personal style. Taking accurate measurements and ensuring proper frame fit. Educating patients on lens options, coatings, and eyewear products. Preparing and dispensing prescription eyewear. Assisting with frame selection and adjustments. Providing exceptional follow-up service and building lasting patient relationships. Working closely with Optometrists, Ophthalmologists, Technicians, and the entire Riemer Eye Center team. Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming optical area. Helping patients see better and feel their best! What We're Looking For We are looking for a team member who brings professionalism, compassion, and a passion for helping others. To be considered for employment, candidates must: Have a positive, energetic "Can Do" attitude. Enjoy working with people and providing outstanding customer service. Demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Have a favorable work and/or school history with excellent references. Be dependable, punctual, and someone the team can count on. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Be comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Be eager to learn, grow, and develop their optical skills. Maintain a professional appearance and represent Riemer Eye Center with pride. Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
