As an Optician, you'll assist with frame selection, lens customization, and patient education while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy standards. Bring your passion for optics, retail sales, and medical knowledge to a role that makes a real difference in people's lives! Duties Assist patients in selecting eyewear that fits their prescription, style preferences, and lifestyle needs, utilizing your strong retail sales skills. Take precise measurements of patients' eyes and facial features to ensure optimal lens and frame fit, applying your knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Prepare and process optical orders using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, ensuring accuracy in medical coding and billing. Qualifications Proven experience in optical retail or clinic environments with a strong understanding of optical experience and medical terminology, but willing to train the right candidate. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to patients of all ages, including pediatrics and senior care populations.
