Overview Superior knowledge of optics with emphasis on the fitting and sale of eyewear. Strong customer service skills. Assist the customer in eyeglass selection and prescription analysis. Support store manager in various projects such as frames pricing and monthly inventory counts. Assist with general office duties such as answering the phone, greeting customers, filing, entry into cash register, and data entry. Some travel to other offices to cover staffing needs may be necessary. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and mercy service standards.

What You'll Do Use your strong knowledge of optics to fit, adjust, and sell eyewear with confidence Help patients select frames and lenses that match their prescription, lifestyle, and style Analyze and interpret eyewear prescriptions to ensure accuracy and satisfaction Deliver a welcoming, high-quality customer experience from check-in to checkout Support the store manager with projects such as frame pricing and monthly inventory counts Assist with daily office operations, including answering phones, greeting patients, filing, cash register transactions, and data entry Step in to support other office locations as needed to help with staffing coverage What We're Looking For Education High school diploma or equivalent (required) Experience At least one year of optician experience Working at Mercy At Mercy, we believe in caring for others with compassion, dignity, and excellence.
