We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with people, have a passion for helping patients look and see their best, and be committed to delivering outstanding customer service.Responsibilities:
- Assist patients in selecting eyeglass frames and lenses that fit their vision needs, lifestyle, and budget
- Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and eyewear products
- Take accurate measurements for eyewear orders
- Adjust, repair, and troubleshoot eyeglasses as needed
- Verify prescriptions and ensure accuracy of eyewear orders
- Process and track eyewear orders with laboratories
- Assist with insurance verification and billing related to optical services
- Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive optical dispensary
- Provide exceptional customer service and build lasting patient relationships
- Support front office operations as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous optician experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
