Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Sales Associate and become the friendly face of our retail environment! In this role, you will engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions to enhance their Optical experience. Looking for a customer-focused mindset that will drive sales and foster long-term relationships, ensuring every visitor leaves satisfied and eager to return. Opportunity for growth. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services that meet their needs Provide detailed information about eyeglasses and financial options to help customers make informed decisions Verify vision insurance, check eligibility, contact insurance if necessary Organize and handle patient records properly Process transactions accurately using cash handling, cashiering, and retail math skills Must be a team player, assist co-workers and doctors when needed Maintain organized cash management and ensure all cash handling procedures are followed precisely Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience Experience Prior experience in optical is preferred, knowledge in vision portals such as Eyemed, Versant Health, etc. Spanish speaker preferred Basic math skills including retail math, cash handling, and cash management are necessary for accurate transactions Intermediate knowledge in computer programs such as Microsoft Excel Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude are key to success in this role Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a lively environment Please reach out even if no prior optical experience, willing to train the right candidate.
