With locations in Vermilion, Lakewood, and Westlake, we focus on medically oriented optometry to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. Summary We are seeking an Optician to join our team at Madison Eye Care Associates. In this role, you will play a vital part in assisting patients with their eyewear needs and ensuring they receive the highest level of care. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering exceptional eye care. Responsibilities Assist patients in selecting appropriate eyewear based on their prescriptions and lifestyle needs. Provide education on lens options and frame styles to enhance patient satisfaction. Manage inventory of eyewear products and ensure proper display standards are maintained. Maintain accurate medical records and assist with billing processes as needed. Collaborate with optometrists to ensure comprehensive patient care. Stay updated on the latest trends in eyewear and optical technology. Requirements • This position requires 2 days a week in our Vermilion location and 2-3 days in our Westlake location. Proven experience as an Optician or in a similar role within the eye care industry. Strong related to optometry and eyewear. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to manage retail operations related to eyewear sales is a plus. Familiarity with medical billing and coding practices is beneficial.
