Job Description

South Waterfront Eye Care is hiring an experienced Optician to join our passionate, close-knit team!
Our philosophy is simple:
we provide premium quality eye care services, promote healthy and sustainable lifestyles, and contribute to our local community•while making sure our clinic upholds the style and panache that are hallmarks of Portland's South Waterfront neighborhood!
What You'll Do:
Submitting and receiving optical orders Checking patients in/out Educate customers about eyewear and help customers choose eyeglass frames and lenses Take eyewear measurements and adjust eyewear to ensure a good fit Provide exceptional customer service Dispense glasses Verify insurance
What You'll Need:
2 years of Optical experience ABO Certification preferred (but not required) Available to work the following schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, & Friday:
9am•5pm
Tuesday & Thursday:
10am•7pm No weekend hours required!
Who You Are:
Seasoned Optician with strong customer service skills and sales experience Passionate about eye care and general patient health Punctual, and has a good work ethic. Why You'll Love this
