• Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Licensed Optician to join our eye care team.

In this vital role, you will assist patients in selecting the perfect eyewear, ensure accurate measurements for optimal vision correction, and ensure the correct frames and lenses are ordered and inventory is managed properly. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for. We have a patient first mentality meaning you are here to help the patient and are not judged on how many glasses are sold. On site training provided for use with our software, Eyefinity/Encompass, if needed. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine technical skills with exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting. We are looking for a long term employee to join our team are grow with our practice. Duties Assist patients in selecting eyewear that meets their prescription needs, lifestyle, and style preferences Take precise measurements of pupillary distance and frame fit to ensure optimal vision correction Manage a wide frame inventory and meet with frame reps and labs to ensure the best product for patients Educate patients on proper eyewear care, contact lens usage, and general eye health practices Assist with retail sales by providing product knowledge on frames, lenses, and accessories without the need to meet a sales goal Be able to work with all age groups from pediatrics to seniors Skills 1

• 3 years of opticianry required. Familiarity with Encompass (formerly Eyefinity)
• training provided if needed Ability to manage time and work well within a small team Customer service excellence. Talking to patients in person and on the phone as well as solving problems with frames and lenses in a timely and professional manner Experience in medical billing and coding related to optical dispensing and eyewear sales
