Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Optician, where your expertise will empower patients to see clearly and live confidently. In this vital role, you will assist in selecting, fitting, and dispensing eyewear, ensuring each patient receives personalized care and exceptional service. Your knowledge of ophthalmology, medical terminology, and optical systems will contribute to delivering comprehensive eye care that enhances quality of life. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to combine technical skills with compassionate patient interaction in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist patients in selecting eyewear that suits their prescription, lifestyle, and personal preferences, utilizing retail sales techniques to enhance customer satisfaction. Accurately measure, fit, adjust and dispense eyewear to ensure optimal visual performance and patient comfort. Review and verify prescription lenses. Educate patients on proper eyewear care, lens options and contact lens use. Process optical orders, returns, remakes and warranties in accordance with clinic policies and vendor guidelines. Experience Prior experience working in an optical retail environment or clinic setting is highly desirable. Strong customer service, communication and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
