Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses
  • Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes and facial features
  • Provide recommendations on lens options, frames, and lens coatings based on customers' needs and preferences
  • Adjust and repair eyewear as necessary
  • Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance
  • Process orders for eyewear and contact lenses
  • Perform medical billing for insurance claims related to eyewear purchases
  • Collaborate with optometrists and ophthalmologists to ensure accurate prescriptions and optimal vision correction
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in optical technology and products

Experience:
Previous experience as an optician or in a similar role is preferred, but we are willing to train individuals who demonstrate a strong aptitude and alignment with our core values.

A proven track record in delivering high-quality customer service, with the ability to offer personalized recommendations and ensure customer satisfaction.
Sales Proficiency:
Knowledge of retail sales techniques, including upselling and cross-selling, with a focus on meeting the customer's needs and enhancing their experience.

The ability to work effectively within a team environment, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive eye care solutions. Skills (Below Skills can be learned):
  • Medical billing
  • Pediatrics (knowledge of vision care for children)
  • Optical (knowledge of eyewear products, lens materials, etc.)
  • Physiology knowledge (understanding of how the eye works)

  • Senior care (knowledge of vision care for older adults)
  • Retail math (ability to calculate prices, discounts, etc.)
  • Systems (familiarity with optical software systems)
  • Retail management (experience in managing an optical retail store)
