Optician

We are currently seeking a full-time Optician to join our optometry practice. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, friendly, adept at teamwork, and possess strong multitasking skills. Hourly rate is based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting customers in selecting eyewear frames, lenses, and other optical products. Taking accurate measurements for eyeglasses and ensuring proper fit and comfort. Advising customers on lens options, coatings, and enhancements based on their needs and lifestyle. Educating customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance. Processing orders, including lens fabrication and frame adjustments. Performing repairs and adjustments on eyewear as needed. Maintaining inventory and ordering supplies as necessary. Providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or inquiries effectively.

Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Friendly and approachable demeanor. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency in multitasking and managing priorities. Previous experience in a medical or optometry setting is preferred but not required. Working hours are Monday to Friday- no weekends !
