Job Description

Our growing optometry practice is looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Optometric Assistant to join our team. We are happy to train the right candidate - no optical experience required. We're seeking someone with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. Job Duties Answer and manage a multi-line phone system Verify patient insurance benefits Assist with pre-testing before patient exams Educate patients on contact lens insertion, removal, and care Help patients select eyewear based on style, lifestyle, and prescription needs Take accurate optical measurements Adjust, repair, and troubleshoot eyeglasses Provide education on proper eyewear care Maintain a clean, organized office environment Restock supplies and assist with inventory General filing and administrative support Qualifications Positive, team-oriented attitude Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Basic computer skills Dependable, professional, and eager to learn Ability to handle confidential information appropriately Why Join Us? Pay:
$12.00 - $16.00 per hour
