Ability to accurately describe features and benefits of various lens and frame materials. Demonstrates ability to interpret a Physician's eyeglass prescription. Explains the impact of the prescription of the finished eyewear to the patient.
Lensometer Skills Needed:
Ability to read base curve, vertex distance, neutralize glasses, etc. Ability to properly adjust patient glasses. Accurately obtain multifocal measurements, PD's, OC height. Problem solving skills. Patient/Customer communication skills and public relations.
