Job Description

We are wanting to expand our team and can't wait for you to join us in helping our clinic continue to offer high-quality patient care to all of the Tri-Cities. Full-time position available for an Optician in Tri-Cities' premier optometric practice. In addition to all of this, you will have the most awesome group of coworkers in the tri-cities area! We are looking for a confident, self-motivated individual with a friendly, outgoing personality. Some responsibilities of the position include: assisting patients with the best lenses/frames for their visual tasks, explaining insurance benefits, processing lab orders, dispensing new eyewear, repairing and adjusting eyewear and assisting in inventory management.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Strong background in retail sales and customer service
  • Optical experience is preferred but not required as training is provided
  • Experience with EMR systems and medical records
  • Familiarity with medical coding and billing practices
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-centered environment
