Job Description
Part-Time Optician desired ! Experience and certifications preferred with salary commensurate to applicable skill set. We will also consider and train an individual new to our industry who possesses a successful track record in retail with "customer-facing" competencies. - Friday flexible scheduling, and a caring doctor/patient/employee atmosphere all located in a state-of-the-art facility.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients in a friendly, welcoming, and polite manner
- Assist patients with requests in office and on the phone (scheduling appointments, medical and vision plan information)
- Demonstrate knowledge of products and services to patients
- Educate patients about current promotions
- Assist and lead the patient in product selection and ordering based on needs & lifestyle
- Computer knowledge and entry of all eyeglass orders
- Read and verify lens prescriptions and orders
- Adjust and repair eyeglass frames
- Keep an eye on inventory levels and restock frame boards as needed
- Maintain clean and orderly office environment
- Contribute to practice growth goals/objectives with excellent patient service & care
- Ability to work as a team and handle multiple patients' tasks
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Optical experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Strong orientation towards providing excellent customer service
- Basic math competency
- High attention to detail
- Demonstrated selling skills
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance
Position Details:
- Part-Time
- Monday thru Friday
- Hourly pay based on experience
Pay:
$16.00- $18.
