Optometrist Madison Optometry Madison, AL Job Details Part-time $700 a day 8 hours ago Qualifications Optometry License Full Job Description Job Summary Join our optometry team on Saturdays from 9:00 to 2:00 1-3 times per month! You will play a vital role in providing comprehensive eye care services to diverse patient populations, but still get to make the most of your weekend. This position offers an opportunity to utilize your knowledge to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives whose schedule does not allow for weekday appointments. Duties Perform detailed eye examinations with technician and front-desk support iCare, Optomap, Zeiss OCT, and Oculus Keratograph topographer as needed Diagnose and manage a wide range of eye conditions including refractive errors, glaucoma, cataracts, and other ocular diseases Prescribe corrective lenses, medications, or referrals to specialists as necessary Maintain accurate and thorough medical records using Revolution EHR , ensuring HIPAA compliance at all times Educate patients on eye health, proper contact lens use, and preventive care strategies to promote long-term visual wellness Stay current with medical terminology updates, medical coding practices, and advancements in ophthalmology to provide cutting-edge care Experience New grads and experienced optometrists welcome Join us in delivering outstanding vision care!
