We are looking for a stellar, motivated, outgoing, highly competent, professional medical Optometrist to work primarily between Huntington Beach and Long Beach, CA. Our goal is to provide personalized and compassionate care in a pleasant setting. You will have to perform light adjustable lens adjustments. You will have the best team supporting you with all the latest technology (OCT, fundus photo, Topography and biometry to name a few). This position is per diem to start and may convert to full-time depending on fit.

• Perform post op exams
• Perform comprehensive eye examinations, including visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision assessments.
• Diagnose and treat various eye conditions and diseases, such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration.
• Prescribe and fit corrective lenses, contact lenses, and other vision aids.
• Provide pre
• and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries including for multifocal IOL's, EDOF IOL's, LAL
• Educate patients on proper eye care practices and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patient examinations, diagnoses, and treatments.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as ophthalmologists and opticians, to provide comprehensive eye care services.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in optometry practices and technologies. ```Qualifications```
• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry program.
• Valid state license to practice optometry.
• Strong knowledge of optometric principles, practices, and procedures.
• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive eye examinations and diagnosing eye conditions.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy of the eye, and ocular systems.
• Ability to interpret diagnostic tests and imaging results related to the eyes.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

The benefits listed on this post are available after becoming full-time, not for per diem (which would be an 1099 independent contractor position).
